May 2009

As always our month will filled with many activities.

My parents came at the end of the month and stayed for about 10 days. It was great to have them home again, and spend time with them. Amanda and Simon also came down for 5 days, so it was nice to spend time with Simon and get to know him better. We went to see the movie UP in 3D. We ended up going Opening weekend, and had to wait in line for over an hour, but it was fun. Here we are in our cool 3D spectacles :) I also have a hard time staying awake in these movies. I think I dozed off 2 or 3 times!! It's either the glasses, or I'm just getting old :)

Memorial Day we had a BBQ at Logan's dad's house. He has completely gutted it out, and added a 2nd floor and it's a really nice home. Here's a picture of cute little Haley, and Katie enjoying every bite of her watermelon.

My mother-in-law Patty LOVES doing these Renaissance faires and activities. So, for Mother's Day we found this Medieval dinner/theater. So we got all dressed up and took her there. It was a lot of fun.So... long story short. We still aren't sure where we will be living in any near future. So, just in case, I started to look for a job in Utah, since as a teacher, you don't want to wait till right before the school year. Well, I had a school that wanted me to come out for an interview. So, Logan and I left for a 3 day weekend. Logan was able to drive around dropping off resumes, and also had an interview. I had my interview, and was offered a job. However, I didn't feel right about it, so I turned it down (we now know why :). But, nevertheless, we had a fun weekend, and spent a lot of time outdoors.
At the park playing scrabble.
Felecia, Leslie, and Jenni. Friends Forever :)
The perfect shot, of Shad kicking the football.
I love my new camera :)
Dad, always keeping busy... pulling a dead tree...
Bethany playing at the playground
Malia - check out that muscle!!!
Caught a picture of Dallen playing Monster Lava (or something like that.
A game Logan made up and played with the kids. It was a BIG hit, and a lot of fun...)

Spencer - all smiles
Jen and Gabriella
Amanda and Scott's little boy, Simon, turned 1 year's old!!! I can't believe it. When my parents were here, we all went up to Auburn, and celebrated with him. He's such a cute boy, and makes the cutest little faces. Love him!!!
