Well, Ho Hum, we continue to go through the same old challenges.
No job luck for Logan yet. We've decided that maybe Law Enforcement is just not for Logan, so we're moving on. He's going to take the LSAT and apply to some Law Schools. So that's good news, but it still puts us in the slump of not having a good enough paying job for our family. He is still working security, but again, getting really lousy pay (for someone with a degree!). So, any help would be great. Whether in Law or any field... (in Calif or Utah). We're feeling really good about going for the law degree (and I prefer it over my husband being shot at!)
I still have my teaching job, which is great, but if I get pregnant any time soon, Logan really needs something to replace my job... and that takes us to our next challenge.
We haven't had any luck yet getting pregnant. As much "fun" as it is, it's really getting old. I know by the time I become a mom, I will have learned so much patience after all this.. So, that's good. We're going through some fertility treatments, but hopes and prayers will help too :)
I also just went through a scary medical mishap recently. I found a lump on my thyroid, had to go through a very scary medical procedure - a biopsy - they stuck four very small needles into the lump. I NEVER want to do that again. Luckily, the lump is benign, Thank Goodness!!! So, we're very grateful for that blessing. I'll have it checked again in a year, but meanwhile, it just stays there.
Meanwhile, we have been very very thankful for the many blessings that we do have. Wonderful family and friends. A wonderful house to live in. Cars that are working great (knock on wood). And the jobs we do have give us everything we need, pay our bills (including these medical treatments!), and our dates that we are taking advantage of before babies come. It seems we have so many things that we continually desire, but many times I just sit back and look at the so many blessings that we have, and can't help but be So grateful. I have found that just finding peace and happiness with how life is right now, helps relieve any frustration that we have for the righteous things that we desire. It will all work out... SOMEDAY :) (patience, patience, patience)
I will update our blog soon with the past few months events, but a few things we have to look forward to are baseball (YES)!, a visit from my parents in May, a trip to Amsterdam to help my dad's show, and then off to England to visit Logan's mission. We can't wait!!!

Felecia, I greatly admire your positive outlook on life and ability to recognize your many blessings in spite of difficult, patience-requiring trials. You continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. I'm so happy to hear that your lump was benign and it sounds like you have some very fun trips to look forward to.:)
