Felecia and I are seriously looking into a career in law. People that I have talked to agree that there are only two options for criminal justice degree's, law enforcement or becoming an attorney. Since we are all in difficult times, now would not be a bad time to go back to school and further my education. By the time I get out (about 4 years from now), we should be in recovery, I hope. I am currently studying for the LSAT. The next test in in June. The format is very similar to the Border Patrol exam (critical thinking questions). On that exam I got a rare 90 out of 100. I just hope I can do the same on this exam. If I am to go back to school I want to know exactly what to expect. I want to know all about the lifestyle in law school, what courses to take, what type of law I want to practice, ...everything. I know that there are many people who read this blog (I like to think we are famous) and we know something about law or have a family member, or friend that is an attorney. I am curious about the different types of law, what they mainly deal with and what I need to do to be successful. I am now looking into a possible job at a law firm or something similar to get more of an idea with law and hopefully get more information to make a more informed decision. My family (especially my wife) love this idea because they don't have to worry about me being a Police Officer. This is a big move for me and my family and I don't want to go into this blindly and make any mistakes. Thanks for all of your support and help. I look forward to hearing from each of you.
