We've gotten lots of good news recently. Logan has passed several tests, with several agencies recently, so it looks like we will hopefully have some options. Hopefully all the offers come in around the same time, so that we have the opportunity to choose. Right now, even though Border Patrol is now at the bottom of our list, Logan has passed all the tests, and they are now doing his background check. With the CHP, Oakland PD, and Modesto PD, Logan has passed all the Written and Oral Board tests (the hardest part). So that's a big relief. He's doing a great job, and has really improved on the Oral Boards. So, hopefully we'll know something by October/November, when all the background checks will be done, and when the academies are scheduled to start.

Meanwhile, we have lived with my parents for the past 9 months, and they are moving to Utah. Happy for them! So, they offered to rent us their home until we figure out what we're doing. And if we end up staying in the area, we can continue to rent it. Logan's mother will also be living with us for a little while, so we look forward to spending a little more time with her.
We don't have any vacations planned this summer. I'm working summer school, and Logan is working a security job (with a little time off right now - LONG story)... So, we're just working, and trying to save some cash. I start the next school year after Labor Day (unless we end up moving to Modesto). But, we'll see...

I want to hear the long story about some time off and the security job. We sure wish CO had gotten their butt in gear and called you guys...
YAY for Logan! That's great news! You gotta love options. We're hoping for the Modesto job...closer to us!!! :)
