In February - we were able to go to Vegas and help my dad with his Vegas trade show/conference. I went for the weekend, but since Logan was still without assignment, he was able to stay for the whole week and work. When we first got there, Logan and I went out to the strip and rode some rides and visited some stores. We stayed at the MGM. They have real live lions for viewing, so that was really cool. We also went to Rainforest Cafe one night for dinner. It was nice to spend time with my parents, Catherine, Wes, and Jacob (also came for the weekend), and Leslie.
Here's Jake at Rainforest Cafe - what a cutie!

For Valentine's Day - my dear husband was VERY romantic. He planned a surprise for me. He told me I just needed to get dressed up, and we were going out. So, I got dressed up, we got in the car, and headed out. To where - I still didn't know. About 15 minutes out, he realized he had forgotten the tickets or reservations at home, so we had to head back. When we got home, that's where the surprise was. A homemade, DELICIOUS, candle-light dinner made by my husband. With menus and music. It was so cool and quite the surprise.

How did he cook the dinner without you knowing about it? And who set it up? I'm trying not to be jealous, but I really am. What a romantic husband!
