So, it's been awhile, but this blog is updated. It feels so good. I don't know why I let it bother me when I don't keep it updated. I just feel behind when I see other blogs that are updated...
So, a quick update on US :)
I am still teaching. I LOVE my new school. It's just so much "nicer"... and I mean the people, the management, the parents, etc... everyone is just nice there. I get continual positive reinforcement, which is a nice change. And really.. the 13 students in my class couldn't be better (ahhhh).
Logan is STILL job hunting. Most of the law enforcement agencies he has applied and interviewed with have gone on hiring freezes (with this lousy economy)... so we're really starting back at square one. And, we're starting to apply to more agencies outside of Cali... So if you know your police departments are hiring Entry Level, let us know!!! We'd prefer to go where we know people.
Meanwhile, he is still working a security job in San Jose working terrible hours - 3pm-11pm Tues through Sat - so YES, we RARELY see each other now... and he doesn't get paid what a college graduate should be getting paid. He's looking into at least moving up in his security company until his "real" job comes along.
With the job search, and trying to become parents, we are really just trying to be patient and keep the faith and hope. We have started infertility, so I'm sure we'll have an interesting next couple of months (hopefully not too long :).
We're both really excited for the holidays. I have two weeks off, and Logan does as well. The building he works at is having a shut down, and so they're cutting some of the security workers for the holidays. Logan was flexible, and gave other people the hours that really needed it, and he got some time off. So, we're heading to Utah, to my parent's home for the holidays. We're really excited to see family and freeze or play in the snow.

YAY for updates! I'm so happy that you're happier! =) Seriously, teaching sucks if you aren't in a supportive environment.
I'm so jealous that you get to go to Utah for the break. I've heard it's really dry there though so maybe it won't be too cold. =)
Move to florida!!! its great weather and they could use good cops and great teachers!!!

Yeah its my first year to get positive reinforcement as well. Makes such a huge difference!!! Come on up to Idaho! :)
So many updates to read all at once. It sounds like you do so many fun things. Enjoy your husband and have patience.
I enjoyed reading your updates and I know you will have a ball at your parents. We got to stay with your parents but your poor mom was sick. We had a lot to do while we were in Utah but still we enjoyed being in your parents beautiful home. I absolutely love their view of the lake and mountains.
We live so close to each other and yet we never see each other.
