2 more trips

Logan and I are trying to get all the traveling in that we can, while we are kidless.. Of course, we'd prefer to be "with kid", but that will happen when it happens. We're waiting PATIENTLY - which we all know is a difficult task for me.

Anywhoo... We went to Las Vegas to help my dad with his trade show. Here's a picture of us on the strip in front of New York, New York, and one in front of Paris.

















Then, Logan and I went to Colorado to visit my sister Catherine, her husband Wes, and their cute adorable son Jake. It was a three day weekend, and perfect timing because Logan was able to test with the Colorado Springs Police Department. He did the written test, the physical agility, and the Oral Board Interview. Being that it was his first test, Logan did not know what to expect from anything. He feels he did ok, but with hundreds of others that tested, and not knowing how many they're hiring, we have NO idea what's going to happen. We should find out in the next month or so. Most cops say that it takes a few tests with different departments before you get an offer, just because of the interview experience to get used to, so we'll see. I'm trying not to get our hopes up. We'll keep you all informed on any offers he might get. We are testing with many cities in Colorado and here in the Bay Area. He returns to Colorado in 2 weeks to test with Aurora... so we'll see :)

AND now... Logan is working very hard at school. He will be going to Aurora for their test the week BEFORE finals, so he is working VERY VERY hard this week and next to get all his papers and assignments done that will be due that week. I've never seen him work so hard. I'm so proud of him!!! This week alone he hasn't gotten home earlier than 9:00pm from school. After classes he stays in the library working on all his assignments. What a guy :)

I'm still working, and as much as I love teaching, the administration part of the job has been extremely stressful this year. With a new director (who's very difficult), and new co-teachers (yes 2 of them :), it's just been too much. I can't wait for Logan to get a job so I can take a little break.
