November 2009

November was a very eventful month. I've already posted our 4D ultrasound pictures. Of course, that was the most exciting. It was truly amazing to see our baby girl moving around, and her cute little face, and facial expressions. Even though I feel her, quite often, it just made it even more real. Here I am at 7 months pregnant.
Yes, you can see my tummy now. Just in time for my baby shower, it popped way out. I'm finally at the stage where people can tell I'm definitely pregnant - and ask about my due date, etc... it's fun. My parents AND all 3 of my sisters came in for the baby shower and my dear friend Leslie flew in as well. It was great to see them all, and spend time with them. I wish they could have stayed longer. But, they threw me a great baby shower... and we're so grateful to everyone for all the gracious gifts. I think we have everything that we need for our little girl's arrival now.

My sisters set up a very cute hot cocoa bar at the baby shower, for a perfect cold Nov. day.

Here's the shower favors they made... they put so much time and effort into everything.
Thanks sistas!!!
We were able to visit my aunt's house in Hayward, and enjoy some VERY yummy menudo...

Happy 2nd Birthday Katie... Yes, the cake was bigger than her! :)

3D/4D baby pictures

We went and got our 3D/4D ultra sound today - and it was SO worth it.. It was a great experience. Very cool to see the baby make faces, and move around... We of course think she is just the cutest thing ever. We were also told SHE is DEFINITELY a girl... Love it.

26 weeks pregnant (just over 6 months) and my Halloween Costume

I have to give all the credit to Logan - he thought up this creative Halloween costume.
I had the shirt already, and he added the tool belt get up, and all the stuffing.
I was a huge hit at school and felt very cute and pregnant.
This is me at 6 months pregnant.

And here's one of the pumpkins that Logan carved this year -
Looks just like him!

October 2009

So, October was pretty eventful.
Unfortunately, I didn't get a ton of pictures from the month.
My parents came for a visit - no pictures. So sad...
But, we had some family events with the Przybyla family:

Logan's sister Mindy was in town for a few weeks.
So we had a BBQ with her and her two kids and Logan's mom.
Here's a picture of Uncle Logan playing in the sand with Jesse
(or at this time disciplining him for throwing sand),
and a picture of Grandma holding Sleeping Aurora.

A week later, we had a big celebration for Logan's dad who turned 60.
We had yummy carne asada, bbq ribs, a pinata, sprayed him with silly string,
and then had birthday cake with presents. Everyone had a good time.

Jesse enjoyed the ribs too:The 60 year old!
The pinata was as big as the children - and STUFFED with candy:
Opening presents with Katie:
Logan got some silly string too!

Picking up candy:

Logan and I bought a quilting kit at the store, and worked together to get it done.
Here's the final product with me enjoying it one night :)

Halloween weekend we went up to Sacramento and spent the weekend with my sister Amanda,
her hubby Scott, and their adorable son Simon.
Here's some pictures from that weekend.

Simon and his typical OH face:

This is Logan's hat. I can't stand the thing, but it comes out every Halloween.
It's just terribly ugly on almost everyone (except Simon of course).

While visiting with Amanda, we went with her to a wedding that she was scheduled to sing at.
Here she is doing her gig - she even got to play the bongos... talent I say :)

Me and my pregnant belly
Simon picked an apple off the tree and just started going at it.

Simon's Halloween:

September Finished

At the end of September, Logan and I had two great dates. The first was a wonderful night out to Sacramento, where we got to see our favorite comedian live - BRIAN REGAN. If anyone doesn't know about this guy, youtube him. He's hilarious (and clean!). We drove up after work on Thursday, saw him live, and drove back the same night. Totally worth it.

Then we went to an A's game. We splurged this time, and got seats that were very close to the field. So close, a guy a few rows in front of us got hit in the head with the ball. We enjoyed the game (who doesn't enjoy baseball games live), and then enjoyed the great fireworks show immediately after.

We're trying to get as much in as possible, before this little one arrives :)

It's a GIRL!

We had my 20 week ultra sound today, and we are very happy to announce it looks to be a
GIRL!!!!

We are thrilled and ecstatic!!! Here's her latest picture :)
We're halfway there... 20 weeks left

I'm definitely growing

I've been growing gradually - but the other day I woke up, and there was definitely a lot more tummy than there was the night before... here's me at 5 months... :) I'm still feeling really healthy. No sickness. I miss restful nights, but am looking forward to motherhood. I do have a numb spot on my right thigh which is really bothersome, and hurts when I stand a lot (like I do all day at work)... apparently I just have a pinched/compressed nerve someplace. And I've been a lot more emotional this trimester. I cried over sunflower seeds the other day ... Oh, the sacrifices for motherhood - but hey, I'm willing :) I'm enjoying it though, and loving how much my husband cares for me and spoils me. He is so sweet... I am truly blessed!!!

The latest...

Well, I finally updated our blog with all the events that have taken place in our lives for the past 3 months. That was exhausting!
meanwhile... things we don't really have pictures of...

My pregnancy is coming along just great. (ok... I'll post pictures soon). No sickness as of yet, and I am about 18 weeks!! wahoo. We find out the sex of the baby on Sept 24th - which we really can't wait for. So, don't forget to vote on our poll (to the right). I've been a lot more tired this trimester, but I also blame the fact that I have returned to work. It's been exhausting. But, I see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I'm excited for January to come, when I can go on maternity leave, and then stay home with my baby! We have gotten all the major furniture ready in the baby's room. So, that's been really weird seeing a crib in the house every time I go up or down stairs. (again, pictures coming soon). But, of course, exciting as well. I'm starting to outgrow my normal clothes, and I'm in the in between stage where nothing fits now. Maternity clothes are just to big/baggy, but my old clothes won't button comfortably... Sleeping has been exhausting, with trips to the bathroom at night, and then sometimes taking hours to fall back asleep. I guess it's all part of that preparation of never sleeping through the night again. And, I have felt the baby move, and that is amazing!!! I love it!
Logan is still working hard at his job in security. Unfortunately, it's not his "real" job yet. He's still looking for something more permanent and challenging, that will pay him what a college graduate deserves. He has given up on police and law enforcement agencies, since it appears he's either too educated or too nice. So, we know something else is in store for him, we just haven't found it yet. He's been looking a lot into corporate security, fraud investigations, etc... The competition here in the bay area is really tough with so many people out of jobs, so we really need some networking help. If you work for a company that is hiring, let us know, and we'll search their job openings, and see if you can help with being an inside contact. We would be willing to move anywhere, and pretty much do anything, as long as it provides for the family. Other than that, he's been really busy working on many house projects and spending time with his adorable wife :)

and their 40th wedding anniversary. What an accomplishment!!!

At the community pool with all the kids. So fun!

We made a family meal at JCW's... delicious!

All the guys went golfing early one morning.

Align CenterGetting ready for the party... Here's Sam making that amazing cake.

Party time!!! And WE were the entertainment :)

Not quite the whole family... but here's most of the clan.
We had so much fun dancing...so did the kids.

We decided for our 3 year annivesary we would keep it low key,
and save some cash.
Well, that didn't really happen, but I'll explain that later.

So, we took a little road trip up to Pt. Reyes Lighthouse.
It was a long drive,
and a really overcast and windy day,
but we had fun together....

until I realized we had to climb 308 stairs to get back UP...
exhausting! but still fun.

Beach bonfire with the Przybyla's.
Logan dug a foxhole...

Welcome to the blog of Felecia, Logan, Natalie and Emily Przybyla!
